Glasses were inconvenient for me in that we are always on the go and the weather changes; it’s raining, it’s sunny, it’s cloudy and I felt like I was always switching out to different pairs; it was just an inconvenience and I realized at that time that LASIK was best for me.
One of the main reasons I wanted to have LASIK is that I am still active with the kids; my son plays little league and my daughter is in gymnastics. I tried contact lenses and maybe I didn’t give it enough time but after several instances it just didn’t work for me. My vision since having LASIK is perfect! It was literally perfect the next day and over time it continues to be all that I had hoped for.
The staff at ILC is and was tremendous for me. They explained everything. They asked if I had any questions. They were very personable. They were great to talk with and they kept everything flowing and right on schedule.
The procedure itself was tremendous, it was very simple, easy, a lot less than I thought it would be. I went in talked to the doctor for a couple minutes, was prepped for the procedure and literally before I knew everything was over and done with. It is great being a member of the ILC family.
